Entropy Glass Jewellery is created by Durham artist Alison Lowery M.A
" I fell in love with glass when I tried a short course in fusing at The National Glass Centre in Sunderland. After two more courses in glass jewellery making I was totally hooked, and invested in a kiln. I love opening up the kiln in the morning to see what I have created, the unexpected triumphs and failures which can lead to exciting discursions in design and experimental techniques.
I am continuing to develop my own style of unique acid etched and lampworked pieces, and I am researching at the University of Sunderland techniques of combining photographic images with glass coatings to produce exquisite art jewellery."
